What excites you most about your ministry? Seeing people who are different from each other connect and acknowledge the intrinsic worth and beauty in each other. The opportunity to participate in God's love and pursuit of the kids and families in our North Seattle neighborhood. Witnessing and experiencing God's ability to touch and transform people through relationships over the long haul.

What excites you most about your ministry? My favorite moments of the ministry have been when we get to review a "story" we've told and the kids get excited about the parts they remember and they get to piece the story back together as a group.
Favorite place to visit/eat or best part about Seattle? Kickin' Boots in Ballard. It's the only barbecue place that's made me smile.
If someone caught you on a Saturday off, what would you be doing? I'd probably be sitting with whatever latest music album I bought.

If someone wanted to do something really nice for you, what would they do? Sit down for coffee or lunch and have a conversation. I love getting to know people and sharing good coffee has become one of my favorite things to do in Seattle.

If someone caught you on a Saturday off, what would you be doing? If someone caught me on a Saturday off, I would likely be watching movies with my family.

What excites you most about your ministry? I love the opportunity to step back, to take a big-picture view on the ministries and the initiatives of the church.
Favorite place to visit/eat or best part about Seattle? For a good meal, I love The Woodlands and Indo Cafe, both on Aurora. Actually, there are tons of great places to eat from Greenlake up to the city line.
If someone caught you on a Saturday off, what would you be doing? On the weekends, I like to get to the mountains. I'm either freeskiing the steeps or coaching young racers at Stevens Pass.

If someone wanted to do something really nice for you, what would they do? My favorite thing is a nice compliment. But good food never hurts!
Hobbies: I have way too many hobbies to keep up with. Skiing and boating are the biggest, along with soccer, music, daydreaming, hiking, mountain biking, getting and splitting firewood, craigslisting, the list goes on.

Your biggest passion? In general, I want to see people live from the core of who they are. Going to deeper places in conversations with people brings me great joy because I think it helps unlock that potential. I think we are on this earth to connect with others & ultimately God, so my greatest joy is to do that in any venue I find myself in!

Favorite place to visit/eat or best part about Seattle? This is a tough one. I don't have a favorite restaurant; I like many different food types, but could eat breakfast pretty much anytime.
If someone caught you on a Saturday off, what would you be doing? Saturdays lately are spent going to breakfast with girlfriends, doing laundry, cleaning my apartment, and generally catching up on things. So, not very exciting.
Favorite book/verse in Bible: Philippians 3:13-14 "No, dear brothers, I am still not all I should be but I am bringing all my energies to bear on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God is calling us up to heaven because of what Christ Jesus did for us."
If someone wanted to do something really nice for you, what would they do? Tickets to the theater - There's something about watching actors on the stage at a play or a Broadway show that I truly admire and love but I'm not able to experience this very often.
Hobbies: Reading, singing, cooking/baking, swimming, counted cross-stitch, watching movies, going to plays, etc...
Book you recommend to everyone/book you are reading right now? There isn't just one book I would recommend to everyone. I like too many and it just depends. I'm currently reading Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand, which is good so far. I'm generally reading multiple things and my reading taste is quite eclectic - I like variety!
Your biggest passion? Truly is to help people who are struggling experience personal growth, healing and change. I understand personally how important it is to deal with the struggles of life and how sometimes we need help to do that. I also know that it's not easy, but the journey is worthwhile.
